If you are involved and knowledgable, you can probably act and move fast to prepare yourself as well as time permits. A customer understands if things get cooked under pressure and my experience is that they appreciate all the effort when the heat is on, even when things are not perfect. The true value of a person or company is shown on these occasions. Here you can show your dedication, flexibility and professionalism! So, don't stress to much and focus yourself on making the best of that urgent session, a good moment for proving your value!

I personally set firm boundaries during my onboarding process and early sessions. I always give a bit more, but within a structured framework. Therefore an ‘urgent session’ can be arranged, but only within the previously agreed structure and boundaries. A late email during family time would not result in me dropping everything to jump online, but I may offer up an early time-slot in my diary for the next day, before my first booked client of the next morning. This way, I show I’m always there for them, I do care - but I have boundaries and value my private life as much as I value my career. ⭐️👇🏼⭐️
