🔥 Holiday Fire Safety 🔥 December is upon us, and the decorations are going up! So let's make sure we all take the correct fire safety precautions to reduce potential fire risks. December and January are the peak times for home fires involving candles and decorations. Remember to: - Check all holiday lighting and cords. - Look for a fire-resistant label when purchasing an artificial tree. - When purchasing a live tree, make sure it is fresh with green needles that do not fall off when touched. - Do not place the tree blocking an exit, and keep at least three feet away from all potential fire hazards. - Turn all decoration lights off when leaving home or going to bed. On average, 30% of Christmas tree fires occur from dry trees in January, so make sure to get rid of your tree after Christmas or when it is dry. 🎄 #vipondinc #holidayseason #firesafety

Dream Factory and Movember! ❤️ It's always important to give back to our communities and help out those who need it most. Recently, our team in Winnipeg donated $1000 to The Dream Factory, and our team in Mississauga was able to raise a total of $2380 for Movember! The Dream Factory is a Manitoba based fundraiser where their mission is to make dreams come true for kids battling life-threatening illnesses. They exist to be a source of joy, laughter, and hope for kids and families in Manitoba that are going through incredibly difficult experiences. And Movember is the leading charity in changing the face of men's health. Their goal is to improve overall mental health and help men build stronger social connections, while also funding critical biomedical research and working with our global men's health partners to break new ground in men's cancer.
