Major project win for Classic in #Saskatchewan! The installation of the fire sprinkler systems for the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital redevelopment project (PAVH) was awarded to Classic Fire + Life Safety. Our Saskatchewan team will install all fire suppression systems including wet and dry systems, to special hazard and foam systems. This $898 Million addition is now underway with the groundbreaking ceremony officially kicking off the project in May. We are proud to be part of this investment in Prince Albert’s future. A career in the skilled trades is more highly regarded today than a few years ago, as 52% of Canadians regard the desirability or benefits of a career in the trades more highly compared to just a few years ago. 78% of Canadians would encourage their children or others to consider a career in the Skilled Trades, and 74% think more highly of a career in the skilled trades than they used to. With perceptions changing in earning potential, work life balance, and job security, a career in the trades make a lot of sense. A survey conducted by Leger commissioned by Classic Fire + Life Safety reveals that Fire Protection, Alarm Technicians and/or Sprinkler Fitters are specifically among one of the areas that is considered valuable today as a great career choice at 33%.
