Maysoun Ismaiel represents in Cairo, Egypt! 🇪🇬 👷♀️ 🚀 Maysoun travelled abroad for an international conference on the future of urban development. 🏆 Plus, she took home an award for having one of the best paper presentations. An Edmonton-based Design Engineer, Maysoun brings a wealth of knowledge in building science & restoration. 💡 She was thrilled to share ideas on how to adjust analytical methods to better estimate the effective thermal resistance of masonry veneer walls. 🌱 Maysoun also presented on a panel about energy & sustainability. Hosted by Housing & Building National Research Center ( HBRC ), the conference happened right in time with Egypt’s permanent Green Building Exhibition. This exhibition matters because it's Egypt's first event for advancing green & sustainable construction. 💪 🏗️ Not only do these practices improve quality of life & efficiency, but they also shape national efforts for optimizing energy & water consumption. Maysoun, thank you for championing sustainability overseas. 🌎 ✈️ You make RJCers proud across borders! #netzero #edmonton #cairoegypt #construction #engineeringprojects #engineeringconsulting

Creative Thinking, Practical Results
About us
We are on a mission to futureproof Canada, one project at a time. From changing your city's skyline to restoring heritage, we have been engineering vibrant spaces for more than seven decades. Our impact includes buzzworthy projects in structural engineering, restoration, and glass design. We are equally enthusiastic about building science, building energy modelling, and state-of-the-art parking garage design. You may have heard of our work from headline-grabbing projects like the BMO Centre Expansion, CIBC SQUARE, The Stack, M City Condos, St. Andrew’s Wesley United Church Restoration and The Well, to name a few. These projects are made possible because our engineers have a reputation for thinking ahead. Bridging sustainability and innovation, we are proud when we deliver designs that challenge the status quo. With offices across Canada, and a growing presence in the U.S., our clients get the ‘RJC advantage’ with personal attention from senior-level engineers who know the challenges of their local neighbourhoods first-hand. We believe that an elevated space for the community trickles down to an elevated lifestyle. For us, every project is a new chance to make connections, while serving the communities we belong to by injecting fresh designs into the spaces they will use every day.

91,000 hours of work – enough to fly around the world 2,022 times. ✈️ 🧳 🌍 3,000 cubic metres of concrete. 💡 That's what it'd take to fill 12 Boeing 727 MAX-7 planes. 325,338 kg of rebar. 👉 That's roughly the weight of 4.5 planes filled with 138 passengers. These are just a few of the amazing proportions behind the rehabilitation project for YEG’s Departures Roadway & Ramp. Edmonton RJCers worked hard with partners at Edmonton International Airport (YEG) & PCL Construction to level up existing infrastructure on this lifecycle replacement. 👷 💪 We also made aesthetic improvements, increased accessibility, added safety features & enhanced traffic flow. Thank you to our partners & team members for bringing this exciting project to the finish line. Time has ‘flown’ by since the grand reopening on Oct. 31. 🎉 RJCers had a fantastic time celebrating this project milestone with friends, stakeholders & local community members. Ever since, we’ve been thrilled to see the space in action for all YEG travellers. 🤔 🗺️ When’s your next trip? 📸 Photos 2 & 5 courtesy of PCL Construction #edmonton #engineeringproject #engineers #YEG #engineeringconsultants #airport
