Maysoun Ismaiel represents in Cairo, Egypt! 🇪🇬 👷♀️ 🚀 Maysoun travelled abroad for an international conference on the future of urban development. 🏆 Plus, she took home an award for having one of the best paper presentations. An Edmonton-based Design Engineer, Maysoun brings a wealth of knowledge in building science & restoration. 💡 She was thrilled to share ideas on how to adjust analytical methods to better estimate the effective thermal resistance of masonry veneer walls. 🌱 Maysoun also presented on a panel about energy & sustainability. Hosted by Housing & Building National Research Center ( HBRC ), the conference happened right in time with Egypt’s permanent Green Building Exhibition. This exhibition matters because it's Egypt's first event for advancing green & sustainable construction. 💪 🏗️ Not only do these practices improve quality of life & efficiency, but they also shape national efforts for optimizing energy & water consumption.
