DEADLINE EXTENDED TILL 5TH NOV 2024. APPLY NOW!
How can we move beyond traditional ideas of masculinity to create more inclusive, intersectional conversations? At The YP Foundation, we believe it’s time to shift the narrative—focusing not just on men as perpetrators or partners in change but exploring the deeper, complex ways identities like gender, class, caste, and sexuality shape an individual's experience. We’re excited to announce the second edition of our REVAMP Learning Institute (Rethinking Violence and Masculinities Perspectives), a 𝟓-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐢 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒. This institute will create a space for young development practitioners to rethink masculinity through an intersectional lens and develop new strategies for engaging men and boys in gender equality work. If your organization is interested in building a masculinities perspective in your programs, nominate two team members (ages 18-30) to join us. The institute will be conducted in Hindi. Apply by 25th October 2024: https://lnkd.in/gnecQStk Read the Concept Note here - http://surl.li/cnehfi

The YP Foundation reposted this
We wrapped up the ARC National Consultation and General Body Meeting in New Delhi on August 13th & 14th. Members from Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan came together to reinstate the ARC's commitment to advancing #SRHRforall #reproductiverightsjustice The consultation featured multiple panel discussions with keynote speakers who offered diverse perspectives on SRHR. We explored the SRHR landscape in India, understood policy implementation, and examined SRHR accessibility and information from a grassroots perspective. Our goal was to come together and analyze current needs, identify gaps, and discuss how we can address them as a coalition. Key recommendations that emerged included the need for an inclusive approach to SRH service delivery, the importance of revising language in SRH policies, and the active participation of young people in decision-making processes.
