𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱'𝘀 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 India Literacy Project is actively involved in organizing regular school meetings, creating a vital space for parents in rural India to connect with their children’s education. These meetings are designed to bridge the gap between parents and schools, fostering a sense of trust and collaboration. These gatherings go beyond just sharing updates—they empower parents to ask questions, voice concerns, and hold schools accountable for providing quality education. ILP ensures that parents understand their right to demand better resources, teaching, and outcomes for their children. For many parents, especially in rural areas, this is often the first opportunity to actively participate in shaping their child’s future. ILP’s efforts not only highlight the importance of parental involvement but also inspire a collective commitment to building a brighter future for every child in the community. This project involves the transformation of 10 panchayat libraries in the Kadayam block into child-friendly spaces, equipped with resources to support both children and youth. Alongside books for competitive exams, the ILP Career Guidance Program offers young people tools to shape their career paths and broaden their horizons. Mr. Kannan emphasized the importance of these libraries in inspiring the youth to explore opportunities beyond their comfort zones. Reflecting on UST's commitment, @Madhumita Raghavan highlighted the program's success in Chengalpattu Gram Panchayat as a blueprint for this expansion. The UST team also visited the libraries in Karuthapillaiur village and Mela Ambur Panchayat, sharing their enthusiasm for the positive impact of the library setups. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 Qualitest 𝗖𝗦𝗥 & 𝗜𝗟𝗣 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗿𝘂 In Tumakuru’s government schools, learning is getting a fresh perspective. Thanks to the partnership between Qualitest 𝗖𝗦𝗥 and ILP, four schools now have access to laptops and digital content, transforming traditional classrooms into dynamic, tech-enabled spaces. For 350 students and 12 teachers, the transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. Teachers, who once struggled with limited resources, now use digital tools to make lessons more interactive and engaging. Concepts are easier to understand, and students are more eager to participate, turning classrooms into hubs of creativity and excitement. Building on this success, Qualitest and ILP are taking their mission further—bringing laptops to 32 additional schools in Gubbi Taluk, Tumakuru district, and positively impacting over 3,500 students. The goal is simple yet profound—equip students with tools that inspire learning and give them a chance to thrive. ILP sincerely thanks Kodanda Ram, Ashwini B.V and Qualitest 𝗖𝗦𝗥 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 for their valuable support in advancing digital literacy and empowering young minds.
