It was a privilege to host two distinguished young leaders at our recent Startup Meet in partnership with Boeing and FITT IIT Delhi in Mohali. We wanted to have participants learn from the depth of knowledge that Inderveer Singh Panesar and Paramdeep Singh A. brought to the table. While Inderveer at EVage Motors raised one of India's largest seed round of $28 Million USD, Paramdeep at FieldAssist took the bootstrap approach to building $8 Million USD revenue SaaS startup. Highlighting their differing approaches—venture capital vs. bootstrapping—and operating in distinct industries, both were generous in sharing candid advice and lessons with fellow entrepreneurs. It was heartening to witness the enthusiastic participation of several new founders, a sign of the growing startup ecosystem in the Chandigarh tricity region.
