The wonderful Kula Conclave from Dec 2nd - 4th in Goa brought together artisans, entrepreneurs, designers, and industry leaders from the creative manufacturing and handmade sectors for a beautiful gathering. A vibrant showcase of India’s rich craft heritage, featuring stunning installations, engaging design talks, seminars, awards, and interactive group activities, Kula was a true celebration of collaboration, innovation, and harnessing the power of handmade to empower communities. Our founder Mayura Balasubramanian was on the advisory team for Kula and had the pleasure of contributing to the event behind the scenes and being a panelist on some very interesting sessions. Swipe through this photo diary to relive the magic of craft and creativity! 🌟 A huge shout-out to 200 Million Artisans, and their chief architect and visionary Priya Krishnamoorthy - Kula is much needed for our ecosystem. KalaAcademy was the perfect venue to host this fabulous event. All of us at Craftizen Foundation were thrilled to debut our unique Flo-dust photo booth installation, made from recycling flowers & paper discards. #Craftizen #CraftizenFoundation #DesignConclave #IndianCrafts #SustainableDesign #Artisans #Empowerment #GoaEvents #KulaConclave #200millionartisans #KulaConclave24 #KulaConclave2024

Grateful. Inspired. Connected. A heartfelt thank you to Priya Krishnamoorthy, Shailaja, Diksha, and the entire 200 Million Artisans team for the absolutely incredible curation of #Kula Conclave 2024. The beautiful Goan setting, the warmth of the community, and the richness of ideas made for an unforgettable experience. The conclave was a true celebration of collaboration, kinship, and innovation. It was a delight to reconnect with old friends from SELCO Foundation, forge new friendships, and deepen existing ones. Every detail of the event reflected the passion and dedication you pour into strengthening this ecosystem. Over the course of 3 transformative days, here’s what stood out: 📚 16 knowledge sessions and 8 hands-on workshops — each one a masterclass in collaboration, learning, and sectoral deep dives. 🌍 A community of 200+ attendees — founders, ecosystem enablers, investment leaders, and artisan-led enterprises from diverse regions of India, with 60% of the Kula tribe being women. 💡 An atmosphere brimming with innovation futures for climate and inclusion, brought to life through installations, chai pe charchas, networking lunches, and shared meals where the magic of community truly came alive. The spirit of Kula — kinship and collaboration — was palpable in every conversation, every connection, and every shared meal. It’s a reminder of the power we hold when we come together to reimagine and co-create a more inclusive, sustainable future. Thank you once again, 200 Million Artisans, for holding space for such meaningful dialogue and action. I look forward to staying connected and supporting your incredible work in any way I can. To everyone in this space — let’s continue to lift each other up, support craft-led enterprises, and champion innovation for climate and inclusion. Really enjoyed sharing all things women and finance on this baithak with Pooja Monga Mayura Balasubramanian & Neelam Pandita =) #KulaConclave2024 #InnovationFutures #CraftLedInnovation #Collaboration #ClimateAndInclusion #Gratitude #Community
