A Life-Changing Experience at a Texas Ranch with John C. Maxwell After 31 years of living in New Jersey, I had the incredible opportunity to experience life on a Texas ranch, just outside of Austin, while learning from the world’s top leadership guru, John C. Maxwell. The contrast between the vast, open landscapes of Texas and the busy, urban energy of New Jersey was striking. But beyond the beauty of the land, what truly struck me was the abundance that surrounds us in this country—whether it's the space, the resources, or the opportunities. It made me realize just how blessed we are to live in the United States, but often, it’s easy to take that for granted. One of the most powerful lessons I learned from John C. Maxwell during this experience was the importance of perspective. Traveling the world and stepping outside of your comfort zone gives you a deeper appreciation for what you have. It’s only when we see the bigger picture that we can fully understand the incredible opportunities and abundance available to us. This experience reminded me to be more grateful, to embrace growth, and to never stop learning.
