I'm thrilled to have moderated an engaging panel discussion at PropTech Connect on "Designing the Ultimate Co-Living Space for the Modern Consumer." Joined by esteemed panelist Katherine Rose, Jenna Harris, and George Ahye, we explored the cutting-edge of shared living spaces. Our discussion was a melting pot of valuable insights, industry expertise, and forward-thinking ideas. Each panelist, drawing from their unique field, contributed thought-provoking and innovative perspectives that will undoubtedly shape the future of urban co-living. As the facilitator, I was inspired by the depth and breadth of knowledge shared by these industry leaders. The dialogue sparked a compelling question for Neurohome: How can we elevate co-living spaces to passively enhance residents' health and well-being? Going forward, we'll be exploring three key areas: - Purposeful interior design that promotes mental and physical wellness; - Thoughtfully crafted spaces that naturally foster community and human connection; - Ergonomically designed fixed furniture that enhances the human experience of tangible space. Our goal? To create co-living environments where every element, from the macro layout to the micro details, contributes to a superior quality of life for the discerning resident. This intersection of proptech, wellness, and innovative design is where the future of co-living truly becomes exciting. I'm eager to see how these ideas will shape the next generation of shared living spaces and redefine urban living. #PropTechConnect #CoLiving #UrbanDesign #WellnessArchitecture #FutureOfLiving #Neurohome

💥 Minimalism is overrated💥 Hear me out… In commercial design, I see minimalism too often leading to sterile, uninspired spaces—missing the mark on creating a connection with users. Multifamily operators, you know this: design impacts ROI. Your residents need spaces that *feel* welcoming and alive, not just clean and uncluttered. A touch of character, a sense of place, and a nod to the culture or history of the location make a world of difference for retention and user experience. ROI ByDesign specializes in cost-effective, ROI-focused design that’s transformed over 200 multifamily properties with this principle in mind. Strategic design that speaks to people, not just trends, and keeps residents renewing year after year. Sometimes, adding a little extra makes all the difference. #CommercialDesign #DesignDebate #Minimalism #UserExperience #InteriorRemodeling

🌆 Exciting Times in Streetscape Design! 🌿 As urban areas continue to evolve, the trends in streetscape design are transforming the way we interact with our environments. Here are some key trends that are shaping the future: Green Infrastructure: Integrating plants and greenery into streetscapes not only enhances aesthetics but also improves air quality and supports biodiversity. Think green roofs, urban forests, and rain gardens! Pedestrian-Centric Spaces: Cities are prioritizing walkability by expanding sidewalks, creating pedestrian-only zones, and incorporating seating areas. This shift encourages social interaction and healthier lifestyles. Smart Technology: From smart lighting to interactive kiosks, technology is enhancing the functionality of public spaces. Data-driven design helps cities respond to user needs in real-time. Sustainable Materials: Designers are focusing on eco-friendly materials, such as recycled products and permeable pavements, to reduce environmental impact while enhancing durability. Community Engagement: Involving local communities in the design process ensures that streetscapes reflect the needs and identities of residents. This participatory approach fosters a sense of ownership and pride. As we look to the future, these trends remind us that streetscapes are not just about transportation; they’re about creating vibrant, livable spaces that connect us all. Let’s embrace these changes and continue to innovate for a sustainable future! 🌍💚 #StreetscapeDesign #UrbanPlanning #Sustainability #CommunityEngagement #SmartCities
