Great call from Dr. P who identified a deep inferior gastric body ulcer on enhanced CT, without gastric perforation. [Images] Axial enhanced CT reveals subtle inflammation along the inferior gastric body (red arrow). The underlying gastric wall ulcer is better depicted on sagittal and coronal reformations (red arrow). Types of subluxation and dislocation of LHB. Modified Habermeyer system incorporates 6 patterns of LHB instability. Type 1 – Minor subluxation, PTT subscap only Type 2 – Slightly greater subluxation, SGHL tear only Type 3 - Extra-articular dislocation, PTT of subscap and SGHL tear Type 4 - Extra-articular dislocation anterior to an intact subscap, CHL tear Type 5 - Intra-articular dislocation, FTT of subscap, CHL and SGHL tears. Type 6 - Intra-articular dislocation, FTT of subscap and SGHL tears. If LHB is subluxed medially it’s not always because subscap is torn. Subluxation - displacement but LHB maintains contact with groove. Dislocation- LHB loses contact with groove. #ultrasound #radiology #mskradiology #biceps https://lnkd.in/gJmrvhWn

Associated thickening and abnormal signal of the overlying patellae tendon. Picture of #Osgood_schlatter_disease 2. Do you know the challenge of capturing a crucial image during fluoroscopy? Floriane Lazarus, Technologist at the Centre Hospitalier Sainte-Catherine de Saverne in France no longer worries about disrupting the examination flow or applying extra dose for an additional RAD shot thanks to the Enhanced CARE Package of LUMINOS Lotus Max by Siemens Healthineers. We visited Floriane to hear from her about her experiences with this bundle of CARE features and she explained how the Snapshot mode makes capturing high-quality images during fluoroscopy a breeze: “The last three images of the fluoroscopy are combined to create a screenshot of similar quality as an X-ray image. This allows us to gain time and it also saves dose.” Dive into Floriane’s story to find out more about the Enhanced CARE Package and the impact of LUMINOS Lotus Max on patient-focused fluoroscopy. https://lnkd.in/eKYhF_aK #LUMINOSLotusMax #EnhancedCAREPackage #fluoroscopy #snapshot #radiology Disclaimer: Products and services mentioned are not commercially available in all countries.

"Unlocking the Secrets Within: How Ultrasound Technology Reveals Hidden Worlds Inside Your Body" The basic principle of ultrasound examination is based on the reflection and refraction properties of ultrasound waves. Ultrasound waves are emitted into the body through a transducer. When these waves encounter interfaces between tissues of different densities, they are reflected. The reflected waves are then received by the transducer and converted into electronic signals. These signals are processed by a computer to create images, which are displayed on a screen. #Ultrasound #MedicalDevice #VaginalHealth #Healthcare #Hygiene #Precision #Ultrasoundguidedtherapy #Minimallyinvasivetherapy #clinic #mediacl #Interventionalultrasound #ultrasound #HealthcareTechnology #MedicalImaging #Percutaneoustreatmenthashtag #Radiology #cliningvlog #Ultrasoundguidedtherap #MedicalImaging #HealthcareTechnology #Radiology #MedicalImaging #PainManagement

Have you ever wondered what an MRI scan does? Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses powerful magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of your body’s internal structures—no radiation involved! However, MRI scans do take longer than other scans and require you to remain very still for the duration of the scan. They are best for soft tissues like the brain, muscles, ligaments, and organs. #Radiology #Healthcare #HealthcareEducation #NeuroRad #PedsRad #radiologist #MSKRad
