🚨 Join us today at ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research Europe 2024 conference, for a poster session on the impact of community-acquired acute respiratory tract infections (ARTIs) across Europe! 🚨 On Monday, 18 November 2024, from 12:30 - 13:30 CET, Pim van Dorst, Health-Ecore will present findings from a study estimating the disutility of ARTIs in 16 European countries. The research reveals that the average disutility value of an ARTI is 0.185, equating to an average 0.00348 QALY loss. Importantly, the GP’s assessment of disease severity proves to be a reliable indicator for estimating the disutility of these infections. Don’t miss the chance to engage with Pim and discuss how these insights can inform public health strategies and improve healthcare outcomes. @HE team #ISPOREurope #ISPOR #HealthEconomics #HealthTechnologyAssessment #HealthcareLeadership #StrategicAdvice #HealthcareInnovation #InvestInnovateImplement #ARTI #PublicHealth #QALY #HealthEconomics #Disutility

World Health Day World Health Day is celebrated annually on April 7 since 1950. On this day in 1948, the Constitution of the World Health Organization came into force. The idea of World Health Day was put forward at the first session of the World Health Assembly in 1948. International Health Day was created to regularly remind the public of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and being active. After all, medicine knows more than 50 thousand different diseases, and most of them can be successfully treated. As the whole world knows, preventing the development of diseases is much easier than treating them.
