🚀 In the frame of the #EUSpaceResearch SALTO project funded by the Horizon Europe programme, the T1H vehicle (Themis 1-engine Hop) was successfully assembled vertically at ArianeGroup facility in Les Mureaux, France, with participation to the event by the #HaDEA Project Officer. This marked a key milestone in the development process of Europe’s demonstrator of a reusable rocket first stage. 🔜The vehicle will now be disassembled again and sent to the Esrange Space Centre in Kiruna, Sweden to continue its preparation for the hop tests, first short flights of a reusable vehicle in Europe. ✅ The #EUFunded SALTO project aims to raise the maturity level of the first European reusable rocket technology, significantly reduce launch costs, and ensure improvements in the environmental footprint.
