On Saturday, November 16th, we’re inviting you to be part of a truly transformative experience at the Young Men’s Conference at the California Ballroom in Oakland. This event is about so much more than just attending—it’s about helping young men break through barriers, embrace vulnerability, and unmask their full potential. Why should you get involved? 🤝 Support the young men in your life by connecting them with mentors and peers who truly understand their journey. 💡 Empower them to grow through dynamic workshops and raw, meaningful conversations that challenge and uplift. 🔓 Help them discover their true strength—not through toughness, but through the power of vulnerability and self-awareness. We’re also calling on volunteers and mentors to be part of this life-changing event. Your presence can help create a safe, supportive space where young men feel comfortable to open up and grow. Together, we can build a brighter future. Don’t let the young men in your life miss this chance. Encourage them to join us, or get involved as a volunteer yourself. Visit the link in bio to register or volunteer at https://lnkd.in/gCewCdxS 🗓 Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024 📍 Location: California Ballroom, Oakland Let’s work together to unmask their true potential. #UnMaskTheirPotential #YoungMensConference #MillionMaskMovement #TakingOffTheMask #EverForward #YouthEmpowerment #MaleVulnerability

Thanks ASIS International - UK for organising and hosting. I know it’s hard to please everyone all the time, Tim Molden and Letitia Emeana ASIS CPP, PSP and CISMP but for me, this was one of the best ASIS seminars I’ve attended 👏 The speakers I heard delivered relevant content and had some great insights I’ll find useful - I was engaged. 🙏 It made me think about attendance though, and the enormous effort put in to organise and run it. UK Chapter has almost 4k followers on LinkedIn, and almost 1k members in real life, so why only a fraction attending this major event? ASIS isn’t alone in this - other security bodies have similar challenges - so what can we do to make these networking / CPD opportunities more attractive to more people?
That's a wrap on the Summer Seminar—time for a well-deserved break now. Thanks to everyone for attending, speaking, and sponsoring. Your contributions made this event a great success!

💡 “Speaking with Impact: A Gem from Margaux Miller” 🎙️ Our first AMA with Community Leaders was an incredible one-hour session packed with insights, thanks to the brilliant and generous Margaux Miller! While the session was full of takeaways, here’s one gem we had to share: how to captivate an audience and leave a lasting impression. Kudos to Piper Wilson for hosting this session for us! 💜 👇 Key Lessons from Margaux on Public Speaking: • Show your hands: Hand gestures naturally build trust and grab attention. • Pause and command focus: A simple “Stop and listen” gesture can refocus your audience instantly. • Humour seals the deal: Deliver your most memorable point after making people laugh—it’s when they’re most engaged! • Refine your craft: Study the techniques of impactful speakers and practice integrating them into your style. This is just a glimpse of the value shared. Margaux, thank you for inspiring and empowering community builders! 🙌 🎯 Want to learn and grow with us? Nothing beats the personal touch 🤜🏼🤛🏼 I hosted my 8th event on Saturday, We invited 30 strong, bad ass women to Manchester & covered the broad but super interesting topic of AUTHENTICITY 😍 One of my businesses’ strongest points is we tailor EVERYTHING - There isn’t one duplicated plan across my entire client base Why? Because, as humans, we are all unique & our healthy lifestyle plan needs to match that Otherwise, how is it any different to the schooling system? Where if you’re not an A Grade student you’re made to feel like a failure 😨 The personal touch and high level of support we provide create a special kind of result, one that our clients can hold onto FOREVER It also builds up their self-trust as they realise after years of trying to get in shape & failing… that they weren’t the issue, the approach they tried was 🥹 If you’re struggling with reaching a goal, whether that be personal or business… Ask yourself this one question: Is this tailored to me, my needs, circumstances & desires ? 🤔 If not, you could have just found your bottleneck 🤍
