Generosity runs deep in many families, and your legacy of giving can continue long after you're gone. Consider including charitable donations in your estate plan—whether it’s through a charitable trust or designating a portion of your estate to causes close to your heart. Pass down the tradition of giving and inspire future generations to make a difference. #EstatePlanning #CharitableGiving #FamilyTraditions

Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTs) is a debilitating condition that has changed everything about the way I live, work and connect with others. Medical Detection Dogs train magic dogs to help manage the symptoms/implications of serious illnesses and do incredibly innovative work in the biodetection and medical alert arenas. Please consider supporting them this #PoTsAwarenessDay
To mark #potswarenessday on Friday we've created a fundraiser to help us train even more lifesaving #pots alert dogs. It costs our charity £29,000 to train each MDD dog and if you feel able to make a donation, please know that it will all go towards producing the next wave of wet-nosed lifesavers. https://lnkd.in/gpyH4mBT

Say, for example, that a donor had a pot P to donate annually to eight similar charities. She could measure their performance based on x interventions costing y annually (the formula is more complicated, this is a simple example). By applying Markovitz Theory of Portfolio Selection she could allocate P among the eight charities according to the Markowitz calculated coefficients efficiently in order to maximize her personal charitable giving utility. The risk-return element is part of the formula. Am I on to something or barking up the wrong endangered tree forest? Answers welcome on an e-postcard.

Performance Leader's Feedback for Good program sees us donate up to 2.5% of our software licence fees back to three charities nominated by the client. It's really simple idea: every time someone provides real-time feedback to a colleague using our fast feedback platform, they get to drop a virtual token into one of three charity buckets. At the end of the year, we donate to the three charities, in proportion to the allocated tokens. (A bit like buying a burger at Grill'd or shopping at Waitrose, except our clients choose their charities). If you're a Performance Leader client and you want to set this up in your firm, reach out to Logan Balavijendran. And if you're not a client, but you're curious about how this might work in your firm, please get in touch! #performanceleader #forgood #feedbackforgood
Congratulations to the team at SPP for achieving your feedback goals, and thank you for being part of our Feedback for Good initiative. Based on your votes (each feedback engagement = 1 vote), we’ve donated over $500 to the charities of your choice (Beyond Blue, RSPCA Australia and Lifeline Australia). Feedback isn’t just valuable—it’s impactful. Happy #FeedbackFriday More on Feedback for Good: https://lnkd.in/en9-dgRQ
