I've had a 𝗹𝗼𝘁 of profound discussions with women who are navigating through a challenging phase where they feel profoundly uneasy in their own skin. This seems to be pronounced during significant life transitions such as post-pregnancy hormonal changes, the 35+ milestone, or the rollercoaster ride of perimenopause and menopause. And let's dive into the whole diet culture phenomenon, shall we? 😡 It's a pervasive force that inundates our lives with 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗳𝘂𝗹 messages and 𝘂𝗻𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 expectations. The pressure to conform to certain body ideals and the relentless pursuit of "perfection" can indeed be seriously toxic. But here's the truth! You don’t have to: ❌ Empty your wallet on pricey supplements ❌Subject yourself to prolonged periods of starvation ❌Exhaust yourself with grueling cardio routines just to witness some semblance of progress. If you’re dealing with relentless fatigue, low progesterone levels might be to blame. Progesterone is more than a pregnancy hormone; it plays a key role in keeping your energy levels steady and your mood balanced. When progesterone dips, you may notice a few things: low energy, sleep disturbances, increased anxiety, and even brain fog. Progesterone helps calm the nervous system, making it easier to relax and get restorative sleep. Without enough, your body can stay in a heightened state of stress, leading to poor sleep and...yes, even more fatigue! Addressing low progesterone can involve lifestyle changes, targeted nutrition, and hormone-balancing support. If this sounds like what you’re going through, I can help uncover the root cause and guide you toward balanced hormones and lasting energy.

✨ What is the Menstrual Cycle? The menstrual cycle is more than just your period! It's a monthly process that prepares your body for pregnancy. Understanding each phase can help you manage symptoms and take charge of your health. 🌸 Phases of the Menstrual Cycle: Menstrual Phase (Day 1-5): This is when your period occurs. It's normal to feel tired or experience cramps. Rest and self-care are essential during this time. Follicular Phase (Day 1-13): Your body starts preparing for ovulation. You might feel more energized and positive—perfect for starting new projects or exercising! Ovulation (Day 14): The egg is released, and this is your most fertile period. Some women experience mild discomfort or a slight increase in body temperature. Luteal Phase (Day 15-28): Hormones like progesterone increase, which can lead to PMS symptoms like bloating or mood swings. Maintaining a balanced diet and regular exercise can help ease these symptoms. 💪 Healthy Practices: Nutrition: Eat foods rich in iron and vitamins to replenish your energy. Leafy greens, nuts, and fruits are great options! Exercise: Light to moderate exercise can help reduce cramps and boost your mood. Hydration: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and reduce bloating. 🛑 Busting Myths: "Periods are dirty": Menstruation is a natural and healthy process. There’s nothing unclean about it! "You can’t exercise during your period": Light exercise can actually help alleviate cramps and improve your mood. 💬 Let’s Talk About It! Menstruation is a natural part of life—let's break the silence! Share your experiences and tips in the comments below. Remember, knowledge is power. The more we understand our bodies, the better we can care for them. #MenstrualHealth #PeriodAwareness #WomensHealth #CycleTracking
