"If your employees are afraid to speak up, your culture is broken." The latest piece from 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 & 𝑬𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒔 𝑩𝒍𝒐𝒈 makes a couple of great points on what it takes to build a culture of compliance in a business: Surveys are useful for measuring employee knowledge of compliance programmes, but they're not enough on their own. Culture operates on three levels: 𝘛𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘰𝘱 where leaders must set the example, 𝘔𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘦 where managers reinforce compliance, and 𝘉𝘶𝘻𝘻 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘰𝘮 where it's crucial to listen to employees. Tanner 2025 Global Culture Report Highlights Need for Fresh Approach to Total Rewards   Here are some key points from this recently published report from this global recognition leader:   “The foremost challenge now is closing the distance between organizational offerings and employee needs. There’s no better time to make Total Rewards more effective to ensure both the individual and the business can thrive.”   According to the company’s research, “less than 40% of workers know the meaning of the term, “Total Rewards,” and only 14% of those people can explain it.
