Do you know when it's a good time to sport your #nonprofit #advocacy attire?Spoiler alert...it's always! But especially now. Because our friends at CalNonprofits Membership just issued an #advocacy alert calling for #nonprofit leaders, like us, to act. Here's what's shaking: ➡ SB 1246 (Limon) California Prompt Payment Act: Incentivizes the state to make timely payments and prevents very small discrepancies from holding up reimbursements. ➡ AB 2322 (Hart and Bennett) Streamline small grant programs: Reduces application and reporting requirements for small grants. ➡ SB 336 (Umberg) Standardize indirect cost coverage: Creates a streamlined and fair framework for compensating nonprofit partners for their indirect costs. To make your #organizations voice heard on these measures, simply review and sign the #calltoaction letter that can be found here: https://lnkd.in/dQ5Bk-GA Once you sign, you’ll join hundreds of other nonprofits who have already voiced their support for these three measures. #LetsDoThis!
