Can political discussions damage workplace environments? More than half of employees say “yes.” Unfortunately, that fact is unlikely to stop people from talking about the 2024 presidential elections, which could become awkward or even heated in the coming months. But there's no need to avoid or ban taboo topics in the workplace. Instead, employees and leadership need to be working together to set the expectation that any talk about politics must be respectful and NEVER undermine team cohesion.
