I used to be unavailable to my team. (I learned this from my experience) Being a Visionary, I used to spend more time with clients and for their growth, I had my team leads manage my team. Everything was going well. But one day I got feedback. People are not connected with me, they need my presence and guidance. Initially, I was not okay, but I understood. I need to balance being a visionary who pulls the company higher and also a team player who supports and understands the team. I started spending time with my Content Team and Client Experience team. I saw HUGE CHANGES, happened in the overall productivity and output of the team. Few lessons learnt. 👉 Being in the service business you wholely rely upon People and their Talent, you cannot replace them until or unless you spend time with your team and build them. 👉 Scaling is Important, build building a business running without you is more important. The formula is "BUILD. PAUSE. REFLECT. BUILD. REPEAT" 👉 The goal of running a service-based business should be "A team which produces results and also enjoys freedom" This is what I'm currently working on. Are you a service business owner? What did you learn in your journey?

One lesson I’ve learned in my own journey: Regular check-ins and feedback loops keep the team motivated and aligned with the big-picture vision. It strengthens trust and allows everyone to contribute meaningfully Kennet Alphy

It totally depends on people and we should always have a back up to complete work so that the client gets their works sorted on time. We may be doing all good but still one negative remark will spoil goodwill so we should always keep on check and see everything is done then and there it increases trust
Exactly 💯
Your journey and reflections on balancing leadership and team connection are insightful and resonate with many service business leaders. Thanks for sharing these valuable lessons!
Being around for the team really changes things! I have noticed how everyone feels more supported, and the work just flows better✨
Your team needs you. One feedback can change their working style plus stronger bond with you. Love the msg here Kennet Alphy

2moBalancing vision with visibility is no small feat. A team that feels connected to leadership is far more motivated and aligned with the company’s mission. The journey of a leader often starts with vision but matures with connection. I admire how you took that feedback constructively—it takes real courage to pivot from visionary to being a present, accessible leader. Kennet Alphy 🙏 😊
