🚀 Driving Retrofit Excellence in Wales: Partel Partners with CWIC for ERFIT Training! We’re excited to partner with CWIC Wales, based at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Swansea, to support the delivery of the Enhanced Retrofit Fabric Improvement Training (ERFIT) program. This Passivhaus Trust-approved course aims to raise retrofit standards across Wales. Jack Howard will be delivering airtightness training, combining both theoretical insights and practical applications. Our "Breakfast & Learn" sessions give the whole Greycoat Real Estate LLP team the opportunity to hear about new projects, market updates, and changes to good practice and legislation. This week had more of a residential focus and we were really pleased to welcome SAY Property Consulting to discuss how successful placemaking can help us to ensure that we meet our goal of delivering cohesive developments and communities that we and more importantly the end users can be proud of. It was interesting to exchange our experiences on designing for efficient operation, delivering projects with efficient service charges, and the increasing role of sustainable technology. The team at SAY provided numerous examples illustrating the importance of getting this right from the outset. Lastly, the new Building Safety Act and Ground Rent Reforms are posing real challenges for residential developers in particular, and SAY provided some thoughtful insight into what is such an evolving topic. Our thanks to the team at SAY Property Consulting for making the time to see us.
