Honoring the Vital Contributions of Veteran-Owned Businesses This Veterans Day, let’s take a moment to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions veteran-owned companies make to our communities and society as a whole. Veteran entrepreneurs bring with them a wealth of skills grounded in discipline, innovation, and unwavering leadership, cultivated through years of dedicated service. Their journey from the frontlines to the forefront of business embodies integrity, mission-driven focus, and a commitment to improving the lives of those they serve. In healthcare and beyond, veteran-owned businesses like Concordant Healthcare Solutions, Inc. don’t just operate to meet industry standards; they set new ones. These companies contribute to stronger, more resilient communities by applying military precision to innovation and problem-solving. Let us honor their service—not only for what they have done for our country but for what they continue to do daily in civilian life. So, on behalf of my military brothers and sister entrepreneurs, join us in supporting and celebrating the incredible impact of our veteran-owned businesses today and every day. www.concordanthealth.com #VeteransDay #VeteranOwned #Leadership #Integrity #CommunityImpact

An informative and enriching experience. Now, it’s time for the follow-up—connecting with new contacts, applying the knowledge gained, and taking actionable steps to move forward. Success lies in the follow-through! #smallbusiness #veteranowned #minorityowned
Reflecting on the 9th Annual Governor’s Minority and Small Business Outreach Summit. The training workshops and Prime Contractors / Exhibitors / Resources Fair were absolutely invaluable, providing key insights and resources for growing and sustaining small businesses. As an added bonus, I had the pleasure of bumping into my former teammate and fellow Veteran-Owned Small Business owner- Brian Preuss of Green Home Solutions of Central Maryland proving once again how strong the Military Veteran community is when we come together. Here’s to collaboration, growth, and supporting each other in our entrepreneurial journeys! Topaz Navarro #smallbusinesssummit #veteranowned #militarytransition

Who would have thought that a retired army officer's next mission would be eyelashes? Many veterans, tired of answering to someone else, explore business ownership as their next career path to take control of their lives. I met this gentleman at a Boots to Business seminar, where I discussed how to find happiness through entrepreneurship after a military career. He wanted to run a semi-absentee business with enough revenue to replace his military income while building a legacy for his children. And yes, a lash business was the perfect fit! If you're ready to explore your next mission through business ownership, contact me today! #VeteranOwned #BusinessOwnership #FranchiseSuccess #EntrepreneurLife

There's a storm brewing. 73% of privately held businesses in the U.S. will transition over the next ten years, representing an approximately $14 trillion wealth transfer opportunity. Will businesses be ready to exit? Will they maintain economic continuity? The U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (SBC) convened a committee hearing on succession planning earlier this year in January and Scott Snider, President of the Exit Planning Institute was called upon for his insights and expertise across the field. I was nice to hear some high level implementation approaches on how and where to start spreading the word to business owners (ex. Small Business Association Development Centers, Veteran Owned Business Outreach Centers, Chambers of Commerce, Family Enterprise Centers, Alumni Associations, etc.). A key item that was emphasized was that the things any business owner should do as part of their exit planning efforts are the same things a business owner should be doing day to day to build a viable business. In other words, exit planning is just good business strategy. How do you slow down to speed up again, Founders? U.S. Memorial Day weekend is coming up. It’s an opportunity to slow day and remember the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military, protecting our democratic and entrepreneurial way of life. This also means: give yourself + your team a holiday break by: * Unplugging. * Getting away. * Breaking your rhythms. * Changing your routines. * Using “out of office” email for once. Other than keeping your commitments, nothing is so important it can’t wait a few days so you can slow down. When you plan for it, and act on it with intention + purpose. Time + energy is finite. You only have so much of it in a day. Intentionally slowing down in life + work helps you speed up again. #DoWhatWeValue * * * * * I’m Dale Archer, helping #founders grow + scale better, faster, and smarter toward their dreams. Follow me + DM re: on-demand exec coaching and overcoming your #timemanagement pain points.

An amazing experience! Launching a business can feel like a monumental effort just to get that first sale, let alone grow. What would happen if you dedicated 10-weeks to focus on the fundamentals need to launch and move forward? What would happen if you joined a community of like-minded veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs also working to take the next big step to launch a business. When you join Bunker Labs Veterans in Residence (ViR), you have more than an entrepreneurial endeavor in common—you have a common ethos, shaped by a common experience. Hit the ground running with a community that never gives up, no matter the challenge.
