Answers: https://lnkd.in/gnXuZN_X #CareerGrowth #ITJobs #JobChange #StrugglingWithDecisions Hey everyone! 🎉 I’ve been working in IT for about 7 years now, mainly in helpdesk roles, and while I’ve loved learning (thanks to my company covering my A+, Net+, and Sec+ certifications), I’m starting to feel a bit stuck. 💼 I currently make a solid $70K, mostly just waiting for tickets to come in. Honestly, they’re pretty basic, and since we also work with a managed service provider (MSP), a lot of the challenging stuff goes to them. Initially, I was fine with this, but now I feel like I’m not growing or learning anything new, which is frustrating! 😩 At 42 years old, I know I still have so much to learn, but my current position doesn’t offer that opportunity. Recently, I received an offer from an MSP that matches my current salary, but there’s a catch: I’d have to commute 45 miles daily, which is quite a change from my current no-commute situation. So, here’s my dilemma: **Stay and enjoy** my comfortable, low-demand job and the salary that comes with it. 🏡 **Move on** and take...
