The other day, I was told I was “being negative” just because I was feeling relieved about leaving my toxic job. Seriously? Here’s what I think: Toxic Environments Can Be Detrimental: It’s mind-boggling how many people accept a work culture that tolerates emotional abuse. This shouldn't be the norm! Positivity Overload: When being happy about escaping a bad situation is seen as negativity, it makes you question what “positivity” really means.
