📖 The passage from 1 Corinthians 12:24-25 teaches us a valuable lesson about the importance of unity and mutual care within a community. It compares the members of a community to different parts of a body, emphasizing that even those parts which seem weaker or less honorable are indispensable. This reminds us that every person has value and contributes to the whole in their unique way. We are called to treat each other with honor and respect, recognizing that when one member suffers, the entire community feels the pain, and when one member is honored, everyone shares in the joy. 🙏 Prayer: Dear God, help us to see the value in every individual within our communities. Guide us to treat each person with honor and kindness, just as you have designed each part of the body with a purpose. Give us the strength to support one another in times of difficulty and to celebrate each other's successes. May we always strive for unity and equal concern for one another, reflecting your love and compassion. Amen. #MotivationMonday #Inspiration #Bible #Charity #HopeandHealing

Inspiration before Information. It’s one of 4 pillars that undergird our work Money for Ministry. People leave a gift in their will to your ministry, because… Your work aligns with their passions and expresses hope they hold deep within themselves. --A gift in their will is a way to WORSHIP God with all that he has given them. --A gift in their will demonstrates a legacy of faith to their kids and grandkids --A gift in their will is a way to pass on values of faith, generosity, and service --A gift in their will tells the next generation of the goodness of God --A gift in their will is a person’s last and final act of generosity, yet extends beyond their lifetime. How are you helping your donors see your work as an act of their worship and an expression of their faith? #nonprofit #fundraising #legacy #christianvalues #giftinyourwill

Generosity from the Heart "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap." - Luke 6:38 As professionals and individuals, we're often blessed with resources to make a difference. But true generosity starts from the heart, not just the wallet. "Remember, the Lord your God is the one who gives you power to prosper." - Deuteronomy 8:18 Let's cultivate a spirit of generosity, not for recognition or reward, but because it honors God. "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." - Proverbs 11:25 If you're led to support a noble cause, consider our Charity organization, empowering communities through self-sustainability projects. Matthew 6:3-4 offers profound guidance on the virtue of giving to those in need with humility and sincerity. It advises individuals to practice generosity discreetly, without seeking recognition or praise. By emphasizing the importance of keeping one's charitable deeds private, the passage underscores the purity of intention behind acts of kindness. It encourages a selfless approach to giving, rooted in compassion and empathy for others. The verse highlights the belief that genuine acts of charity, performed quietly and without expectation of public acclaim, are seen and appreciated by a higher power. It suggests that such humble generosity will be rewarded by divine grace and blessings. Let us embody the spirit of anonymous giving, knowing that our benevolent actions, carried out in secret, hold immeasurable value in the eyes of God. 💖 #Matthew6_3_4 #Charity #Humility

Pastor, Here's something radical to teach your people about giving... The Bible says that we should give "beyond our ability!" 2 Cor 8:3: For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord. (NASB 1995) Salvation is free, but stewardship is costly. Few of us really give sacrificially. Most of us adjust our standard of giving to our standard of living. Instead, we should adjust our standard of living to our standard of giving. #churchcapitalcampaigns #churchstewardship #churchfundraising #nonprofitfundraising #charitablegiving #faithbasedorganizations

Jonah 2:9 - "But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed, I will make good. I will say, 'Salvation comes from the Lord.'" How can you fulfill your vows of gratitude and acknowledge that salvation comes from the Lord? For example, · By committing to daily acts of kindness and thanksgiving. · By volunteering your time to a charitable cause. · By sharing your blessings with those in need. · By making a promise to express gratitude more frequently. · By declaring the source of salvation and hope in your life. Action Step: Today, consider making a vow or commitment to serve others and honor your vow with a specific act of kindness or service to those in need. Reflect on the significance of salvation in your life and express your gratitude for it. #LoveINCMoCo #LINCMoCo #30daysofthanks #trending Bless Your Neighbors! https://lnkd.in/eTHqDnEK

We are all striving for sainthood, but sometimes it can be difficult to think of practical things we can do to live out holiness in our daily lives. First Witnesses, an Institute for Catholic Formation initiative, wants to help you do just that. Here are 7 ways to become a saint from First Witnesses: - Create a list of reasons you are grateful - Write a kind note to someone in your family. - Donate books and toys to charity - Go all day without electronics and offer the sacrifice for those who are ill. - Reuse paper to write and draw on - Pray for someone in need As Bishop Caggiano says, “Becoming a saint is made one choice at a time." Let's make those choices and strive for sainthood each and every day!
