Here's the thing to remember this Giving Tuesday: Donors already have the resources to equip grassroots nonprofits with everything they need. There are $228.89 billion in charitable assets sitting in donor-advised funds (DAFs) in the United States. On average, only 22.5% is actually granted out each year. The rest just sits there. We started our Get Off Your Assets campaign as a call to our partners to move more money, more urgently to historically marginalized communities. And our community answered the call: Tides Foundation DAF partners give double the national average. Now we’re asking other donors, DAF providers, and philanthropy as a whole: Get off your assets and join us. Get involved: https://lnkd.in/eVs9Tyqx

🌟Fostering Purposeful Recovery🌟 Meaningful connections with nonprofits are the backbone of impactful collaborations. Recently, Lindsey Bressi, our Nonprofit Relationship Manager, spent a week visiting organizations in California to witness their incredible work supporting Transition2Work participants. From providing light-duty assignments that motivate recovery to fostering a sense of belonging, these nonprofits create environments where participants can heal and thrive. As one participant from Catholic Charities Center shared, “This place became my happy place. My friends are here.” Thank you to our nonprofit partners for making a difference every day.
