If you went to any of the 5 different GovCon conferences this week, and you talked to a potential customer, but you DIDN’T get a clear next step, you wasted an opportunity. Govy’s like to talk to industry, they are also required to by law/regulation. But they are also super busy, so it’s on you to follow up, follow up, and follow up some more. Expect to talk to them 15 times before anything valuable comes out. Don’t get discouraged, it’s just sales.

One of my clients just told me about their most recent conference. The booth next to theirs was packed. My client asked them the secret: Clay. More specifically, they enriched the conference attendee list with Clay beforehand, and reached out personally to all qualified contacts, booking demos at the booth. They also made a list of qualified accounts/contacts in the conference city, and booked themselves in-person meetings before and after the conference itself. All without reps wasting time combing through giant spreadsheets of bad prospects. In honor of INBOUND 24 coming up in ~1 week, I'm giving away a free list enrichment.
