I don’t reheat leftovers. Neither should your message 😉🦝 Messaging & Positioning Strategist for Corporate Consultants 👄 Here to help your voice get noticed with profitable messaging

Ever had someone "punctuation police" your message? Or tell you to dial down your tone? If it bothered you, there’s a reason — trust your gut. Dousing your message in corporate chlorine doesn’t strengthen your brand; it just dilutes it. You may feel pressured to conform under the guise of “professionalism” or a rigid sense of clarity. But here’s the truth: there’s no one-size-fits-all formula when it comes to developing a strategy that truly resonates. It’s different for everyone. Here’s how we think about finding the right balance for authentic, impactful messaging: 🦝 What’s your goal? 🦝 What does your audience need so that you can achieve that with them? 🦝 How does your unique style support the answers to both those questions? Your style — punctuation, emojis, visuals, tone, storytelling choices — should reflect a strategy that's uniquely yours. 𝐓𝐋;𝐃𝐑: Embrace your style with adaptable creativity. Never censor it.

Exclamation points are super appropriate for a lot of brands. I use a ton of them because I am 100% committed to people understanding that I'm at least 50% "too much." 😅 If a prospect things "too much" is a real problem, they're definitely not for me.

I just tried using Gen Z slang in a comment. Definitely NOT my best moment. Sometimes you have to know your place. Exclamation points and emojis all the way!!!!!!

Nit-picking your grammar, punctuation, word choices, the color of your sweater, dialect, or the soup on your shirt is a passive-aggressive way of marginalizing your input. If they wanna stop you from neologisms, contractions, and … you know … the things. Go. Full-on. Fragment soup. And crank up the volume.
