🌟 As a Health Ambassador, I had the chance to engage with a group of inspiring seniors for a training session. Alongside the workout, I shared insights on dementia prevention—an important topic as we work towards holistic health. 🧠 Understanding Dementia: Dementia is a condition affecting the brain, potentially impacting memory, language, and daily decision-making, especially in those 50 and older. While there is no cure, there are ways to reduce the risk and maintain overall wellness. 360-degree tips for reducing the risk of dementia: 1. Eat Healthy 🥦 – A balanced diet with whole grains and proteins is essential. The nutrients you fuel your body with play a crucial role in supporting brain health. 2. Stay Physically Active 🏃 – Aim for at least 150 minutes of exercise weekly. Movement keeps not only the body but also the mind active and agile. 3. Stay Mentally Engaged 📚 – Read, learn new skills, cook, or take up a hobby. Challenging your mind keeps it strong and sharp. 4. Build Social Connections 👥 – Engage in community activities and nurture relationships. Social support can be as vital as physical health for mental wellness. 5. Monitor Your Health ❤️ – Manage chronic conditions, and don’t skip regular check-ups. Keep an eye on blood pressure, weight, and blood sugar levels, as these contribute to overall health. Each of these elements fits together like pieces of a puzzle, creating a holistic framework for wellness. A balanced approach—focusing on diet, physical activity, mental engagement, and a supportive community—provides the strong foundation needed to protect our minds and bodies. Let’s all make a conscious effort to care for ourselves and support one another in this journey. 🌱✨ #AnastasiaXCoach #HealthAmbassador #DementiaPrevention #HolisticHealth #CommunitySupport #MindAndBodyWellness

𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵! ✨ On World Health Day, observed annually on April 7 since 1948, the WHO spotlights global health concerns, emphasizing physical & mental health as a fundamental human right. The theme for 2024, 'My health, my right’, seeks to refocus global attention on this essential principle. So, how can we prioritize #health in our daily lives? ✔️ 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸: If everything feels overwhelming, put on your headphones for your next call and take a walk outside in nature. ✔️ 𝗔𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆: I heard this saying from my grandpa until he reached the age of 102. So, give your body vitamins. It seems to definitely be good medicine. ✔️ 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆: Grab yourself a damn big glass and keep refilling it with water regularly. It's so effective for flushing through your system, making you feel like you're washing away all the bad stuff. ✔️ 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 & 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲: Everyone knows how important sleep is, but sadly, few of us actually make it a priority, myself included. However, I feel reborn when I do manage to get eight or nine hours. Let's make a pact to prioritize it more together. ✔️ 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲: I'm so bad at regulating my screen time myself that I wrote this post at midnight. Nevertheless, I try to switch off at the weekend. ✔️ 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀: I've also neglected my private life for the last two years. For some time now, I've decided to make this a priority again. Time to drop the pen today evening & enjoy the weekend! Deloitte has an internal Well-Being Platform that offers various courses and lectures on #mentalhealth, exercise & sport and nutrition. Fascination Fascia and Life Kinetics will be the topics over the next few weeks - I'm going to listen in! 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆! ♥️ How do you take care of your physical and mental health daily? 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳: Roberto Ferraro

If only there was an industry that was pivotal in preventing chronic diseases, enhancing mental health, and bolstering social wellness, all while potentially saving governments a substantial sum in healthcare costs. Oh wait, there is. #fitnessbusiness #fitnessindustry #preventativehealthcare #obesity #healthcare
The survey highlighted a substantial under appreciation of the impact of social isolation and mental wellness on heart health, with two-thirds of adults (68%) unaware of the link between social isolation and heart disease and only about half (53%) recognizing mental wellness as a risk factor. This highlights the importance of prioritizing not only physical but also social and emotional well-being as part of a comprehensive approach to preventive health care. https://lnkd.in/g82QhewB #fitnessbusiness #fitnessindustry #hearthealth #preventativehealthcare
