As an avid gardener, I know firsthand how vital bees are to our food production and the overall health of our ecosystem. Their role in pollination is crucial for our gardens and crops. This got me thinking about how much we can learn from bees, especially their teamwork. One of my favorite reads has been this insightful blog: https://lnkd.in/e3tcB5si on Bee-inspired Teamwork by Marc-Peter Pijper which explores how bees communicate, cooperate, and adapt—key elements for successful team dynamics. Bees teach us the importance of clear roles, strong communication, and shared purpose, all crucial for a thriving team. Let's keep supporting our bees and each other! 🐝💛 #PosiGen #BePositive #BeeConservation #SaveTheBees #PlanetBeeFoundation #SaveTheBeesUSA #Teamwork #Gardening

Today, August 12th, is all about raising awareness for the fragile state of these magnificent animals. To help elephants, since 2020, we’ve partnered with Wild Tomorrow, a South African reserve dedicated to the conservation and recovery of endangered species by creating and protecting natural habitats. Each year, we allocate part of our 1% for the Planet commitment - which is 1% of the company's revenue (not profits) - to support their incredible work. This year, we’re aiming to make an even bigger impact: 🐘 From August 12th to 18th, we’ll be matching every donation made through our website, effectively doubling your contribution. 🐘 Plus, during this period, all the funds we raise through 1% for the Planet will go directly to Wild Tomorrow and their cause. Only 24 hours left in our Big Give #ChristmasChallenge. ⏰ A donation of £50 could be doubled to £100, enough to plant 100 fast-growing trees in a rewilding site, which could be a nesting spot for orangutans in just 3 years. Why donate? Why now? Orangutan conservation is not just about preserving their species—it’s about protecting the entire rainforest ecosystem that is so crucial to maintaining a balanced and healthy climate. There are fewer than 14,000 Sumatran and just 800 Tapanuli orangutans remaining in the wild. Without urgent action, we risk losing these incredible creatures and the diverse rainforest ecosystems they help sustain. Remember, every donation is doubled until 12 noon tomorrow! If you want to help protect orangutans, biodiversity, forest-edge communities and the global climate – now is the time to donate! ⏰ Donate now ➡️ https://ow.ly/pWwC50UgxB1
