WWF-Canada and the Barrett Family Foundation have entered a five-year philanthropic partnership to #RegenerateCanada. This historic gift will fund efforts to fight the dual crises of biodiversity loss and climate change. "The impact of this philanthropic partnership will be transformative, touching on all planes of our work, from community and youth engagement to Indigenous-led restoration, to carbon sequestration. As we have done in previous years, Raute supports protecting the valuable Baltic Sea. Therefore, Raute has donated this year's Season's Greetings funds to the Living Baltic Sea (Eläköön Itämeri) campaign.  A healthy Baltic Sea supports biodiversity, combats climate change, and sustains vital natural resources for industries like ours. 1% for the Planet is a global network of businesses and environmental organizations united in their commitment to support both people and the planet. Each year, Hapatune dedicates 1% of its sales to charitable causes selected by each team member. This year, Kimo Sanderson, Hapatune’s Technical Director, has chosen to support the East Maui Watershed Partnership. The EMWP protects the east Maui watershed from degradation by caring for native forests and their component native species as well as educating the local community about conservation and other issues relating to watershed All told, they protect 100,000 acres of essential watershed forest in east Maui – 60,000 of which is critical habitat secured for over 100 rare and endangered plants and 13 native bird species. As an avid gardener, I know firsthand how vital bees are to our food production and the overall health of our ecosystem. Their role in pollination is crucial for our gardens and crops.
