Musk is planning a larger funding round in January that could push xAl's valuation to as high as $75 billion. A partnership with Nvidia would be advantageous, given Musk's companies, including xAl and Tesla, depend significantly on Nvidia's advanced chips for Al development. Good investors provide start-ups with the resources, knowledge, skills, connections, capacities that are absent or difficult to procure.  money is only one resource; but it is the most fungible  here … a16z has apparently built up a cluster of Nvidia GPUs, to rent out to its portfolio companies. This is an interesting turn on their ‘entrepreneur service’ model - no-one can get enough GPUs right now, and many startups don’t have the money or bargaining power to to do this themselves, so a16z provides that as a service, and of course as a lever to get into hot deals. other than cash… what else can you provide  James Green  views on what investors could and should assist with  #startups #resources #investors #fungibleresources  https://lnkd.in/gEsANiZJ
