This session was fantastic and really had me thinking about my employees taking on work and for those who took on work when I was on a 12 week leave. The insights they shared left me in disbelief. We often focus so much energy on those on leave, which is great. We should!! BUTTTT let’s not forget those who are taking on the workload. Let’s look out for those employees as well! Let’s minimize burnout, dissatisfaction and workplace anxiety and lean in and support our employees.
We often focus on #leavemanagement from a user and employer perspective, but new research from AFLAC and Prudential (https://loom.ly/nI0jTXA) illustrates how leaves of absence can affect the people left behind! Findings shared during the 2024 #DMEC Annual Conference illustrate the need for change! The panel was one of five top-rated sessions featured at the 2024 DMEC Virtual Annual Conference on Sept. 18! Share insights and takeaways from this new research, and follow DMEC for more on this important topic! #HR #EmployeeExperience
