Why Did EY India's Official Statement Clash with Chairman's Email? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gwZJJJjq #EYIndia #Leadership #CorporateCommunication #BusinessUpdates Hey everyone! 🌟 It's been buzzing around the office - EY India has just released an official statement that seems to go against the mail sent out by our Chairman. Talk about mixed signals! Here are some key points to consider: 📧 The Chairman's Mail: The email we received from our Chairman laid out specific expectations and direction for our team moving forward. 📝 Official Statement: However, the latest official statement from EY India contradicts some of those points. This can definitely lead to confusion among employees and impact our morale. 🤔 Possible Implications: Such discrepancies can affect our trust in leadership and may create uncertainty about our role in implementing the company’s vision. I think it’s crucial for companies to maintain a clear and consistent message to their employees, especially in times of change. This kind of miscommunication can have cascading effects on team dynamics and productivity. What are your thoughts on this situation? Have you ever encountered something...

Dear Connections, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve recently joined KPMG India Government and Public Sector (G&PS) division! Transitioning from academia to consulting has been one of the most challenging yet fulfilling steps I’ve taken in my career. The journey into public policy and consulting has been a long-standing dream, inspired by a desire to impact society on a larger scale. This goal was what drove my preparations for the UPSC-IES and RBI DEPR exams; although those paths didn’t open up as I’d hoped, but the dream remained alive. The shift wasn’t easy but being determined to find my way, I poured my energy into networking and learning about the field, sending out more than 350 emails and going through countless calls, interviews and discussions. Each interaction was an invaluable lesson, and I’m deeply grateful for the connections, insights, and encouragement I gained along the way. I’m thrilled to embark on this new journey with KPMG India , where I hope to leverage my background in economics and my passion for public policy to make a meaningful difference. Thank you to everyone who believed in me, guided me, and encouraged me to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles. Here’s to new beginnings and impactful work ahead! Ending this post with the lines that I used to remind myself throughout this journey 📈 The paths may twist, the roads may change, Yet dreams persist through every range. Though trails may shift and plans reframe, The ways may differ, but the goal’s the same #Publicpolicy #kpmg #ecomomics #reseilient #newjourney #dream #making

The world is moving towards providing a balance work-life (with some countries even moving to a 4 day work week). It is an irony that we are inventing tools (AI) that automate tasks, which converts to the fact that most of mundane, boring tasks are managed by a machine to give you more creative, more productive output, thereby reducing your stress, we are still in the era of "don't manage your stress, but bear your stress". Remember the old man who said work 70 hours every week. Unfortunately he also belonged to the tech world, but wants people to work as laborers. What about enriching physical, mental health. No one talks about it, we are far far away from these concepts. That said, it is right that we have to built our education system for our young generations to accept that we would have stress, we would have to manage it, and that life is not only about your tasks at your job.

Discussing what factors are influencing the roles and responsibilities of a #CFO today. Nandita Pai, Partner and CFO Program Leader, Deloitte India, highlighted that today, a CFO spends less than 50 percent of their time on core finance activities and more as a steward, catalyst, strategist, and operator to navigate this dynamic and constantly evolving #business landscape. "In this changing backdrop of business as unusual, modern CFOs emerge as a pivotal player with an elevated role and recalibrated priorities," she said.
