My recent conversation with Gordon Ng, the founder of Talenox. His insights on data readiness, customer alignment, and scalability stuck with me—and here’s why: 1️⃣ Data Readiness is a Competitive Advantage Gordon shared how Talenox’s early investment in organizing their data set them apart. This foundation allowed them to seamlessly adopt Gen AI for onboarding and payroll. While others scrambled to adapt, Talenox was ready to scale. Takeaway: Your data isn’t just a resource—it’s a launchpad for innovation. Build systems now that will save you time and money later. 2️⃣ Understand the Customer Behind the Problem Talenox initially targeted the wrong stakeholders: HR made the decisions, but finance processed the payments. This misalignment slowed adoption. They learned to map out customer workflows and align their solutions with the people actually driving decisions. Takeaway: Solving problems starts with understanding who you’re solving them for. Always dig deeper into customer workflows. 3️⃣ Scalability Starts on Day One Many companies struggle to adapt legacy systems to new opportunities, but Talenox avoided this trap by building scalable systems from the start.
