✨ Friendly reminder that it’s okay to take a break. Growing up, I believed that every action had to propel me toward my goals. I adopted the mindset of “You can rest when you’ve met your goal,” but the problem was that the goalposts kept moving. Doing things “because I wanted to” or “because it made me happy” didn’t seem like valid reasons, which led to guilt whenever I took a moment to rest. Today, I’m still pursuing my goals, but I’m also more intentional about taking care of myself along the way. It’s a continuous learning journey, and I still struggle to turn my mind off at times, but allowing myself adequate moments of rest gives me the fuel to keep going. Remember, it’s okay to pause and prioritize self-care; it can make all the difference in your long-term success! ✨ #SelfCare #MentalHealth #GoalSetting #WorkLifeBalance #PersonalDevelopment
