On a recent trip to London to see the fantastic https://lightroom.uk/ (highly recommended btw), I was sitting on the tube and heard the British Transport Police slogan "See It, Say It, Sorted" to keep themselves and others safe: - See It: Passengers should be aware of what is going on around them - Say It: Passengers know there is a place they can go to report what they saw - Sorted: Passengers can trust that the issue will not be ignored and will get sorted This resonated with me, and I wondered whether something like this could be useful within organizations looking to become adaptive and agile—something simple to help employees think in terms that help to evolve the organization continuously. Here is what I came up with so far: "🔍Sense It. 🗣Share It. 🤝 Solve It. To succeed in a constantly changing business landscape, we want to ensure that our organization makes team organization decisions in the context of a fast flow and cognitive load. We all have a role to play and rely on you, our employees, to be our eyes and ears. Please remain vigilant for anything that seems out of place or awkward in your day-to-day working practices. 🔍 Sense It: Teams have a clear understanding of what is considered out of place or awkward in relation to achieving fast flow and cognitive load 🗣Share It: Teams have processes, practices and techniques that help them articulate and share what they have observed and can ask for help if they are unsure. 🤝 Solve It: Teams are empowered and have the tools, processes and capabilities they need to work together with other teams to redefine boundaries If you feel your team needs support in adopting any of these processes or are unsure of what we mean, please contact your fast-flow enabling team." This is just a first draft and a bit of a brain dump, but I'd love to get your thoughts.
