Difference between One-way data binding and Two-way data binding. 1. One way data binding can be used to show the user some data (app to user data flow). 2. One way data binding can also be used to get user input (user to app data flow). 3. For some reason, if we want to show both data and get user input over the same widget. In other words, If we need a two-way data flow, we should use two-way data binding. #android #androiddevelopers #androiddatabinding #androiddevelopment

The Data Analytics world needs to recognise and develop a new data type. We already have Integer, float, string, date etc etc. But none of these work when working with App versions Seriously.. how am I to select all app versions below say v1.5.34 ? That too when I don't even know how many versions might actually exist. #DataAnalytics #DigitalMarketing

🔥🔥 Boost Your Database Performance with Connection Pooling! 🔥🔥 Tired of slow database interactions? Connection pooling is your secret weapon! ️ **What is it? ** Imagine a pool of pre-opened connections to your database. Your app grabs one ♀️ instead of creating a new one each time (wasteful, right? ♀️). This saves tons of time ⏱️ and makes your app super speedy! ⚡️ **Benefits? You bet! ** Faster response times: Users get what they need instantly! Improved scalability: Handles traffic spikes like a champ! Reduced resource consumption: ♻️ Saves your database server from getting overloaded! **Who needs it? ** High-traffic apps: ️ Lots of users, lots of connections! Data-intensive apps: Works hard with lots of data! Real-time systems: ⏱️ Needs lightning-fast responses! ⚡ Level up your development game! ⏫ #connectionpooling #databaseperformance #data #webdevelopment #technology

Justin Poehnelt has shared a comprehensive look at key-value store options in Google Apps Script. Key-value stores are useful for storing data like user preferences or frequently accessed data, which can also be shared between script executions. As part of Justin's post as well as looking at the built-in store options, PropertiesService and CacheService, there is also a look at scenarios where you might want to consider alternatives like Firestore. The choice of key-value store depends on factors like expiration needs, number of items, value size, access control requirements, latency sensitivity, and cost considerations. Justin's post provides a thorough analysis of each factor, including latency comparisons. Head over to the source link to get all the details! #GoogleWorkspace #GoogleAppsScript Read more →

Our team has been working hard to release updates to our web app over the past two months! Here’s what we’ve churned out: * Flexible baseline: Choose any time point as the baseline for determining changes in cell population or subset frequencies; have access to these modified statistical comparisons with the click of a button. * Collapsible filtering: Our filtering tabs have collapsible filters, allowing you to quickly navigate to the category you’re looking for. * Appending batches: Data is added to the web app on a rolling basis as batches are processed. Get access to your data with less downtime. * Group comparisons with missing samples: Subjects with missing samples are excluded from group comparisons, allowing you to compare the remaining ones. All of these updates are live, so head to app.teiko.bio to try them out with our demo dataset. For the full update, check out our announcement here: https://lnkd.in/g8_3v4rd

What's the biggest problem every app builder faces? It's not user acquisition. The real issue is the "attention problem"—every other app is constantly competing for your users' attention, according to Schaun Wheeler of Aampe. Standard solutions are poor at best. The lack of effective solutions points to a bigger issue: most companies aren't effectively integrating data science into decision-making. The root cause is a lack of "decision connectivity." Watch Schaun's full Data Council '24 talk at the link in comments.
