When I started out in tech, I gave up a lot of times. It was very sad and frustrating, I won’t lie. I didn’t take any courses or have any mentor. I was just trying to figure out things on my own leaveraging only YouTube and it was hard, trust me. I made mistakes and overall, I wasted time too. But now I see it was all part of the journey, Yeah… and those tough moments helped me grow stronger. And now in my journey, I can proudly say I have super Amazing mentors guiding me, and I also have amazing people I mentor, too. With this I’ve learned you’ll never know how far you can go until you actually start. Taking the first step might feel hard, but once you get going, you gain so much. Here’s a reminder to stop procrastinating and take action: •➤ Try out the tips from that last webinar you attended. •➤ Watch the video you downloaded to sharpen your skills. •➤ Read that post you saved last week. •➤ Start the course you recently bought. •➤ Reach out to a mentor or connect with someone in your field. •➤ Set a small goal today that moves you forward. •➤ Spend 5 minutes thinking about your next step today. Remember, all it takes is one small step to get the momentum going. 📍Don’t wait till tomorrow start today! P.S. I had a great rest this weekend and feel grateful for everything I accomplished. ❓ What’s one thing you wish you had started sooner? Wishing Everyone a Productive Week Ahead.
At first, at a point I felt overwhelmed and I almost give up at some point, but thank God for where we are now. Pushing forward learning and relearning every single day. My advice to those upcoming analysts is never to give up but to keep pushing and reminding themselves why they started out in the very first beginning thank you Abimbola Arowolo for this excellent share 👏
I have given up so many times and also and felt so frustrated and well is a part of life and you just need to be disciplined and show up no matter what
Very true procrastination is the enemy of greatness once you can want to get stuff done and get them done in time life would be kinda easier.
The journey is indeed long and 'giving up' is always two steps behind waiting for a chance. I appreciate your encouraging words.
Procrastination is a killer of dreams That’s one root cause we should all focus on

1moWell said, Abimbola Arowolo! Honestly, my start was a bit confusing. I knew I loved data analytics, but I didn’t have a clear plan. I remember taking almost every course I came across. Even after the training, I kept wondering, ‘What’s next?’ Back then, I didn’t have the chance to be on LinkedIn. But now, my journey is starting to make more sense. Getting started is really the key , things get clearer along the way!"
