🌟 Reflecting on an Incredible Week at Headstarter ! 🌟 This week has been nothing short of transformative, thanks to the powerful insights and guidance from the Pathways2Tech event. The speakers were beyond inspiring, and their words left a lasting impression on how I perceive growth, innovation, and perseverance in the tech industry. 🚀 Dennis Crowley - Founder of Foursquare shared how passion and emotion are the fuel for consistency in our work. His advice to care deeply about what you do resonated with me, as it’s this genuine connection that drives us to stay dedicated even during the most challenging times. 🔥Tariq Ahmed - First Engineer AppLovin gave a remarkable piece of advice that truly struck a chord: "Chaos is a ladder." Being able to adapt in uncertain situations and turning those moments into opportunities is what defines success. It’s about persevering even when the path ahead seems unclear. 💡 Julian Alvarez 🚀 - Ex-Meta and CEO of Wisdolia reminded us that "The only real failure is the failure to learn." Mistakes are not setbacks, but stepping stones toward growth. His perspective on learning from failures, just like Edison’s famous quote about finding ways that don’t work, inspires a mindset of continuous improvement. 🔍 Hamza Ali - CEO of Olostep emphasized the importance of taking initiative. His encouragement to be proactive, voice your opinions, and seize opportunities that others might overlook is something I plan to carry forward in my journey. 🌐💪This week has undoubtedly sharpened my technical skills, especially through the Headstarter mock interviews. My second mock interview with Aidan Ouckama's AI was a significant improvement from the first, and it’s all thanks to the incredible support and learning environment provided by Headstarter . I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of this experience and to have learned from such inspiring leaders. I look forward to applying these lessons as I continue to grow in the field of software engineering. A huge thank you to Yasin Ehsan 🚀 , Faizan Ahmed , and the entire Headstarter team for bringing together such an amazing community of learners and professionals. #AI #Headstarter #SoftwareEngineering #Growth #Mindset #Innovation #Perseverance #TechCommunity

𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟏:𝟏; 𝐃𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤. Have you ever found yourself endlessly planning for something and ended up not acting on it? 𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐭! It’s really sweet to dream about what we’re going to do and how we’re going to do it (yk like how I’m going to write a book or have this business and it’s going to make a whole lot of sales), our brains would even trick us into this illusion where it all worked out and it gives us this temporary pleasure so we forget we need to act. 𝑫𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐭 In another world, some people are even anxious about their work not being perfect enough that they actually never put it out. 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥. Many startups today are like that, you want to build this app that’s going to blow off the whole world and while that is super amazing, you forget that a lot of big companies today started small. I mean Facebook was just an app for Harvard students to communicate, Amazon was just an online book store, and a lot more. 𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧? 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 (𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐝) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭. It’s so easy to drive a car with your mouth, but it won’t move until you put your feet on the pedal and your hands on the wheel. 𝐒𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰! ❤️ Happy Monday Everyone!! How excited are you for this week? #thoughtleader #actionoverwords #mondaymotivation #writer

#Day29: There was a time I worked with a small startup founder who was juggling multiple roles—product design, team management, and marketing. He was passionate about his product but struggled with getting people to actually use it. When we first spoke, I could tell he was overwhelmed. He wanted users but didn’t have the bandwidth to connect his idea with others. So, instead of focusing on traditional approaches, I suggested we focus on conversations, not pitches. I asked him to list three people he believed could benefit from his product. We set up casual calls where he simply shared why he created the product and asked questions about their struggles. Those conversations didn’t feel forced; they felt real. By the end, two of them agreed to try it out, and one became his first paying customer. This experience reminded me that connection beats complexity. Founders don’t need to master everything; they just need a simple, human approach to build rapport with their audience. It’s not about selling—it’s about inviting someone into your story.

SCRIPE IS FINALLY LIVE! 🎉 9 months of building, growing a community, and talking to hundreds of beta users. yep, this feels surreal. because one year ago, I would have never thought that I would start a second company. in fact, I was at my lowest point. 🙇🏻♀️ letting go of my first startup was super hard. but it made me think about my values and my purpose. I realized why my mission is to empower people to use their voices. because I experienced first-hand how much it helped me for my business and over my career. and my goal is to enable everyone to share their stories and expertise to build their audience. so when I started to talk with Christoph and Eva, they shared their motivations. > Eva: „to use AI to make unheard people heard“ > Christoph: „to build a product people love“ not in my wildest dreams, I could imagine that we unite our motivations and skills into Scripe. today, Scripe is: ✅ an AI personal branding assistant to create high-impact content 10x faster. ✅ a freaking amazing & intuitive product our users love. ✅ a community with the spirit to empower each other. we've worked so damn hard. & I am insanely proud. and no, doing it a second time is not easier at all. ;) but with the best team and community ever, I enjoy every minute of it – well, despite some moments. 🤓 & I cannot wait for everything to come. we are just getting started… ;) enough sweet talking here: we cannot wait for you to try and test Scripe. of course, we give away some free months for our little birthday. just leave a comment „scripe“ and I send you a code via DM. 🎁 with that said a huge shoutout and thank you to our community, ambassadors, advisors, and early supporters - naming them all would exceed the allowed post length! 🥹🫶 #ContentCreation #personalbranding #linkedin #launch #Startups

How I prepare myself for my first startup date: For my recent startup intro meeting, it took me 4 hours to prep. That's all I needed for: - Understanding their industry jargon. - Checking out the website and social media pages - Figuring out who their competitors are and what they are doing differently. - Preparing tons of questions to ask - both professionally and work culture-related questions.

🎄 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 & 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 🎄 I absolutely love Christmas—there’s just something magical about this time of year. I look forward to winding down, disconnecting, and spending quality time with my loved ones (and, for once, not with my beloved startup 😉). But as much as I love Christmas, it always comes with the same challenge: the end of the year feels like a race against time. On one hand, I can’t wait for Christmas; on the other hand, I wish there was more time before the year ends because there’s still 𝗦𝗢 𝗠𝗨𝗖𝗛 to do. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? There’s never enough time to achieve everything you set out to do. You push yourself to squeeze in as much as possible, but eventually, you have to accept that some things need more time and will roll over into the next year. And you know what? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆. What helps me is taking a moment “between the years” to reflect on the past 12 months. I might start December feeling like there’s so much left undone, but by the end, I realize the truth: 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱. There’s no such thing as a “𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿” (especially not in the wild rollercoaster of startup life!), but looking back always surprises me. It’s incredible to see just how much my team and I were able to achieve. Then comes my favorite part: 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 for the upcoming year(s). It’s my way of staying connected to my purpose, dreams, and goals—both personal and professional—and ensuring I’m prioritizing what truly matters in life and business. I haven’t created my vision board yet, but one thing is certain: 𝗜’𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 of all we’ve achieved with REBELS 0.0% and what my team and I have built together. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲? 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿?

Working with founders at a startup, you plan 📝, pivot 🔄, persevere 💪, ALOT I couldn’t be more happy to be working alongside my team at Meahana As the year wraps up, we did a team appreciation activity on the platform. Happy to share the template for anyone interested. Step 1: Energizer / What are we thankful for in our team Beth takes GREAT notes in all our meetings in Notion. A quick export of those into AI, helped generate a fun list of “Who said it statements” dating back nearly 2 years, as well as some funny holiday trivia questions. Step 2: Note to Former Self If you could go back in time to when you started your time at Meahana and write a letter of advice to your former self, what would be the main bullets of your letter? Step 3: Celebrate the Past / Envision the Future Past: Proudest team moments, achievements, lesson learned that made us stronger, how have we grown. Future: what excited, one goal or milestone, our impact growing over time. Thank you! Beth, Matthew, and John as well as to all our amazing customers:)
