The City of Cedar Park has officially unveiled its $31 million state-of-the-art library, a key milestone in the city’s ambitious vision to establish a true downtown hub. This stunning new facility serves as the centerpiece of the Bell District, a $750 million redevelopment project designed to foster community connection and urban vibrancy in this growing suburb. Cedar Park has experienced remarkable growth over the years, driven by its appeal to remote workers and families seeking proximity to Austin. Despite its thriving big-box retail and entertainment venues, the city has long needed a central gathering place—a void now being filled by the Bell District's visionary development. The Bell District’s first phase will introduce modern residential spaces with integrated ground-floor retail and dining options, alongside standalone restaurants. Over the next five to seven years, this transformative project will redefine Cedar Park’s community landscape and bring new energy to the area. The Williamson County Economic Development Partnership is thrilled to see these exciting investments enhancing the quality of life in our region! #EconomicDevelopment #WilliamsonCounty #CedarPark #CommunityGrowth #BellDistrict

The Williamson County Economic Development Partnership recently commissioned an economic impact analysis for the U.S. 79 corridor, a 97-mile stretch from Round Rock to College Station, Texas, that is fast emerging as a hub for advanced manufacturing. Major projects by Samsung, Soulbrain, the Titan Hutto Mega Site, Skybox Data Center, and the Rockdale/Milam County Advanced Manufacturing Park are set to drive substantial growth in the region. The analysis, conducted by The Perryman Group, projects that these developments will lead to significant population and housing growth, greatly expand employment opportunities, and contribute billions annually to local economies. Through this study, the Williamson County EDP aims to support local communities in preparing for the impressive growth ahead. We extend our gratitude to our funding partners – City of Hutto, City of Taylor, Texas, Rockdale Municipal Development District, and RPower – for their dedication to shaping the future of the U.S. 79 corridor. #WilliamsonCountyEDP #EconomicDevelopment #FutureOfTexas #EconomicImpact

The move highlights Taylor's emerging status as a business hub in Central Texas, with KRXT set to enhance local media coverage while continuing its commitment to serve Milam, Lee, and Williamson counties. More on Williamson County Economic Development Partnership's expanding collaboration with Yongin City, South Korea, as the two regions continue to strengthen ties. Both regions are home to Samsung Semiconductor factories, and the recent sister city agreement, signed by County Judge Bill Gravell, marks a major milestone in fostering cooperation and mutual prosperity between the two communities. During our recent visit to South Korea, we engaged with numerous companies and agencies, generating solid leads for potential expansions into Williamson County. With an office now established in Seoul, we are well-positioned to assist South Korean businesses in exploring opportunities here, further strengthening economic ties.
