  • 🔥 Burnout is real—but It doesn't have to define your leadership journey. When life hands you a two-month-old baby and a career full of high-stakes decision-making, what do you do? If you’re Jessica Gibbs, CFP®, Vice President and Partner at Monument Wealth Management, you turn your experience into actionable leadership advice. Jessica’s latest article, “Beating Burnout—Essential Leadership Strategies to Protect Yourself and Your Team,” is a must-read for every executive navigating the pressures of success while maintaining balance. From recognizing subtle signs of burnout to actionable tips like reframing self-care as performance recovery, Jessica’s advice is as insightful as it is practical. She also reflects on wisdom from burnout coach Rachel Boehm, NBC-HWC, PhD Candidate shared on Monument Wealth Management’s "Off the Wall" podcast. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gcbqPniN 👏 Huge thanks to Jessica and Monument Wealth Management for sharing this wisdom as part of their commitment to building a healthier, more balanced executive culture - and being a proud partner of Wednesday Women. #Leadership #BurnoutPrevention #WednesdayWomen #ExecutiveWellness #WomenInFinance

  • “Expand your social network to be age-diverse. Intergenerational friendships are key, not just for career growth, but for happiness and relational well-being. Even friends way older than you can make a big impact!” 🫶 ✨ This advice comes from our newest WW, whom we’re excited to spotlight today - Amy Yotopoulos. She is a seasoned executive leader, consultant, and advisor in healthcare, longevity, caregiving, and social connection. Amy’s passion for exploring the science of longevity began during her undergraduate years at Stanford, where she studied under Dr. Laura Carstensen, founder of Stanford’s Center on Longevity. Since then, she’s dedicated her career to advancing research, driving innovation, and delivering hands-on caregiving to older adults. She has spent three decades transforming how we understand and support healthy aging of the mind and body. Her career spans leadership roles at Stanford, AgeWave, and Avenidas, where she combined research with real-world solutions to improve senior well-being. She is a member of the Eskaton Board of Directors and has served on the Advisory Boards of Amava and Tellus. She is also a trained death doula and grief specialist, uniquely combining academic expertise with compassionate caregiving. 🎤 As a sought-after speaker and thought leader, Amy has taken the stage at TEDx San Francisco, where her talk, “The Unsung Longevity Factor of Social Connection,” explored how social connections help us lead healthier and more rewarding lives. You can check it out here: https://lnkd.in/datuGEtQ. If she were to give another TED Talk, it would be about… 👇 “I'd love to give a talk about transitions in our lives and how to allow those transitions to change us (for the better) and to use them as a springboard for growth and fulfillment. We are all resistant to change, especially when it is out of our control, yet it can open up whole new worlds of potential and possibilities.” She has also keynoted international conferences, sharing insights shaping global conversations on aging and longevity. 🙌 ⭐️Connect with Amy & learn more below. ___________________ Wednesday Women is supported by Commsor 🦕 - where business and personal success is created by a focus on “go-to-network” and relationship-driven growth. • ✨ We’re thrilled to spotlight a relationship-driven leader, visionary connector, and advocate for purpose-built partnerships. 👋 Meet Sam Yarborough, Chief Growth Officer, Salesforce at Invisory, a company that empowers ISVs to go to market faster and succeed on cloud marketplaces. In her role, Sam helps partners succeed in the Salesforce ecosystem by fostering alignment, driving growth, and unlocking the potential of strategic alliances. With a background as a marketer, designer, and strategist, Sam approaches challenges with a creative mindset and delivers results that benefit both business partners and customers alike. Her passion for building meaningful relationships extends to the Friends With Benefits Podcast, a show about revenue-generating partnerships, which she co-hosts with her husband, Jason Yarborough 🐻. On this podcast, they share insights on all things partnerships and the power of connection. As an active member of the Women in Partnerships community (powered by Partnership Leaders), she brings her expertise to inspire others in the field. 💡 Her advice for up-and-coming professionals? 💬 “Make yourself invaluable and ask for what you want! Go beyond your job description, find whitespace to add value, support your team, and overdeliver. And don’t be afraid to ask for what you want. The answer is always “no” until you ask.” 📣 If she were to give a TED Talk, it would be on how mindset shapes your world. “Mindset matters. "You attract what you are" is a true statement. Our ability to choose how we approach the world has everything to do with how the world responds to us.” ⭐️Connect with Sam & learn more below. ___________________ Wednesday Women is supported by Commsor 🦕 - where business and personal success is created by a focus on “go-to-network” and relationship-driven growth. It's rare for us to feature men on our page... but today is an exception. Our friends Pete Vomocil 📸, Morgan J Ingram, Jared Robin ⏭, and Dustin Joost had some stuff to say, too. It's December 13th, and we are SO SO SO close to our goal of 10,000 followers by the end of the year - only 581 to go! Please share and tag 5 men in your network who should follow Wednesday Women 💜

  • Data can make a real difference. As we've done in the past with our 'Balancing the Boardroom' research, Wednesday Women is proud to work with a partner on a piece of industry-focused, data-driven thought leadership... and YOU can help. WW sponsor Zone & Co has launched a survey on the state of compensation for women in finance roles - key benchmarks across industries, public and private sectors, and business growth phases. The resulting report will provide insights to foster equity and understanding within the profession. Here's how to help: 🤔 Know a woman in finance? 🏷️ Tag her in the comments below so she can see/take the survey 📝 Share the survey with others you know in finance 🫸 #Survey closes on December 20th [p.s. We've worked with Centiment in the past and have to add that they're a wonderful provider of this thoughtful survey experience.] https://lnkd.in/gt3-rveJ
