A fittingly sunny day for a Flip the Switch Event! Our team spent the morning hearing from local officials and the fantastic partners that make important projects like this possible!

With a quick drone flight on this sunny day, we are thrilled to share the completion of a state-of-the-art solar energy system at Meadow Ridge, one of Connecticut’s leading retirement communities. This project is a shining example of what can happen when innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to sustainability come together. Some key facts about the project: - 763 kW DC capacity - Nearly 900,000 kWh of clean energy generated annually - CO₂ emissions reduced by 605 metric tons – that’s like avoiding the use of 68,000 gallons of gasoline every year! Thank you to the forward-thinking resident leaders at Meadow Ridge for embracing clean energy and to our incredible partners at the Connecticut Green Bank for helping make this project a reality. We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of FedEx's first solar installations in Connecticut!  Verogy designed and installed state-of-the-art solar systems on the rooftops of FedEx facilities in Stratford (866 kW) and Middletown (2,075 kW). These systems, comprised of more than 5,300 solar panels in total, are designed to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of these facilities while providing a reliable source of clean, zero-emission energy. Combined, these projects are expected to generate over 3,468,700 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy annually—enough to power 321 homes for a year! We're proud to have worked with FedEx on this sustainability journey and look forward to the long-term positive impact these projects will have on our environment. #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #Sustainability #FedEx #Verogy
