The night featured awards and a special video showcasing our decade-long journey. 🥂 Whiskey toasts, cigar rollers, delicious food, and lively line dancing made it a night to remember. What a great time celebrating the ribbon cutting for the HomeSafe Florida Bernstein Family Foundation Campus in Boca Raton! 🎉 We are honored to have completed our fourth project for HomeSafe, alongside the architect for this project, Claren Architecture + Design. HomeSafe and its vital mission mean a great deal to Verdex. This project is more than just building—it’s about creating safe spaces and brighter futures for those who need them most. This month, HomeSafe hosted a celebration and ribbon cutting for our newest residential group home, the Bernstein Family Foundation Campus in east Boca Raton. The event marked the culmination of seven years of tremendous efforts by HomeSafe staff, donors, volunteers and other community members who came together to build four extraordinary, uplifting, safe, healing spaces for our children. We are grateful to all who have supported HomeSafe through their philanthropy – these gifts are saving and changing children’s lives. We would also not have a home for these children in Boca Raton today without the support of the Junior League Of Boca Raton, whose members secured and opened this campus thirty years ago. Verdex Construction has built four new innovative and enriching residential campuses for our kids across Palm Beach County, and we thank Rex B. Kirby, PE and the Verdex team for another generous gift to support the project. Twelve teenagers who have experienced significant trauma and need intensive therapeutic support, will soon move onto the new campus and have a safe, warm, happy home. We officially broke ground on the highly anticipated 8111 South Dixie mixed use project, developed by Flagler Realty & Development, Inc., Woodfield Development, and designed by Spina O'Rourke + Partners! This transformative project, located in the south end of the City at the entrance to West Palm Beach, will deliver 358 apartments, including 90 workforce housing units to address the critical need for affordable housing in the area. In addition, the project features a public gathering and events area and 19,000 square feet of retail space, which will house a new grocer and other retail. Several City officials, staff and local residents joined in the celebration. Together, we’re building a stronger community! 🏗️ #BuildingSomethingBetter #VisforVerdex
