In 2021, UTN spearheaded a pilot project to bridge the gap between education and telehealth by providing school nurses with telehealth technology to perform virtual visits and evaluate the health of students remotely. We partnered with 19Labs to provide 174 telehealth kits to 21 rural school districts in Utah. The School-based Telehealth Project aims to reduce school absences and increase access to healthcare by enabling school nurses to conduct virtual visits and evaluate student health remotely. We're proud to support Utah schools in expanding healthcare services and improving student outcomes through innovative telehealth solutions. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gvvjdJG9

Proud to spotlight our member, Blue Mountain Hospital, for their innovative use of AI to improve patient care! 🩺 Blue Mountain Hospital chose Athelas Scribe to support providers with patient care notes. Here are some of the highlights of using the AI tool: ✅ You can customize how the note is compiled by adding rules to align with your specific EMR requirements. ✅ The application runs entirely within Chrome, so there is no need for any extensive software installs. ✅ Decrease note completion time and increase time for patient communication. In our latest newsletter, Blue Mountain Hospital's IT Director, Kelly Smith, shared, "Since implementing this AI solution, we have seen major improvements in timely charting and less time spent by providers post-visit/post-procedure trying to complete all of their patient documentation.” Read more about their use of Athelas Scribe here: http://go.uen.org/c4n
