  • Today marks 50 years of incredible progress in improving the availability of safe drinking water. The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) has been crucial in shaping and protecting water resources, engineering, utility management, and public health now for half a century. We were honored to join USEPA for a special anniversary event alongside water champions like Rep. Dan Kildee, Rep. Debbie Dingell, Sen. Tom Carper, CA State Water Resources Control Board Chair E. Joaquin Esquivel, and WSSC Water General Manager/CEO Kishia L. Powell to reflect on the last 50 years and discuss the future of safe drinking water policy and building healthy, sustainable communities. To learn more about the impacts of the Safe Drinking Water Act, check out our latest blog post, which discusses how this landmark legislation has shaped water regulation since its enactment and what is still needed at the federal level to ensure safe drinking water is a reality for all Americans: https://lnkd.in/gV-h5wux #WaterSafety #SafeDrinkingWaterAct #CleanWater

  • Looking for the perfect gift for the water enthusiast in your life? Here are a few ideas to inspire, give back, and support our collective water future: 🌎 For the adventurer, consider reusable water bottles or a LifeStraw from brands that support sustainability. 🎨 For the art lover, "Away With the Tides" by Calida Rawles is a stunning book that merges hyperrealism, poetic abstraction, and the cultural and historic symbolism of water. 🚿 For the eco-conscious homeowner, water-efficient gadgets like the Kohler Co. Regulator or a Smart Home Water Monitor help conserve resources and make saving water effortless. Find more tips and products to save water at https://lnkd.in/ew8nwuX. 💧 For the change-maker, make a donation to a local water organization in someone’s name or adopt a river, lake, or local water body in their honor to help protect our natural resources. Visit our members page to find an organization in your community to support. Let’s give gifts that flow with meaning this year! #OneWater #SustainableGifts #HolidayGiftGuide #WaterLovers
