Unwitting individuals may invest in such charlatan games, perhaps centered around a new #cryptocurrency, attracted by the rise of bitcoin and the FOMO they undoubtedly experience. When the scammer dumps their position, the investments likely become worthless. Mitigating risk is a key element in cybersecurity. Safeguarding oneself in the above scenarios is akin to practicing proper #cyberhygiene.
