Meet Jim Benton at my event Webcomicon in Ferndale, Michigan! Jim is the creator of the massively successful property “It is Happy Bunny” series that debuted around 2000 in stores like Hot Topic and resurfaced in a big way recently. As if that wasn’t enough, he went on to create hugely popular kids properties like Dear Dumb Diary, Catwad, Franny K Stein, and recently Batman Squad with DC. On top of all of this, and much more, he regularly produces one of the most clever and funny webcomics, with many viral favorites. It is my honor to have this incredible talent, prolific creator, and wonderful human who has mentored me over the years. Bring your kids on Sunday to attend a drawing workshop- all free for kids!
