On December 13th, through Taskrabbit for Good, Taskrabbit employees had the opportunity to support Habitat for Humanity International through two impactful and creative projects: 🇬🇧Our UK colleagues joined an Upcycling Workshop in East London, turning old furniture into something new. 🇺🇸Our Bay Area team members met up in San Francisco to build a garden-themed playhouse for a local preschool—and of course, the playhouse design incorporated a rabbit! Both experiences were a fantastic way to give back to our communities while connecting with colleagues and celebrating the holidays. Huge thanks to the Habitat for Humanity affiliates in SF and London, who do such important work to provide stable housing for those in need! ❤️
About us
Taskrabbit is a marketplace platform that conveniently connects people with Taskers to handle everyday home to-do’s, such as furniture assembly, handyman work, moving help, and much more. Acquired by IKEA Group - the world’s largest furniture retailer - in 2017 At Taskrabbit, we want to make your neighborhood a little more familiar. Whether it’s a handyman (or woman!), a housecleaner, moving help or delivery person, we’re imagining a world where everyone will have a go-to team to make everyday life easier. As a company we celebrate innovation, inclusion and hard work. As a pioneer of the sharing economy, Taskrabbit was founded on the premise of neighbors helping neighbors. Since then, our network has grown to eight countries and 75+ cities, yet our core mission of creating a better everyday life for everyday people has remained the same. Together with IKEA, we’re creating more opportunities for people to earn a consistent, meaningful income on their own terms by building lasting relationships with clients in communities around the world. We are a group of mission-minded people. Our culture is collaborative, pragmatic, and fast-paced. We’re looking for talented, entrepreneurially-minded and data-driven people who also have a passion for helping people do what they love - and have a ton of fun while they’re at it.

As part of Mes de las Culturas Unidas, Taskrabbit's Unidos affinity group hosted an inspiring Speaker Series with Dr. Lizette Ojeda, PhD. The session explored the intersection of cultural identity and career success, focusing on Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking communities. Dr. Ojeda covered key topics like the hustle mentality, imposter syndrome, and career advancement, encouraging us to embrace our "secret salsa" — the unique values and strengths that define us — and turn cultural identity into a career asset. Her personal story of resilience inspired attendees to unlock their full potential. Thank you to everyone who joined!

Just over a year ago, the devastating fires in Maui left Lahaina in ruins, displacing countless families and individuals. Recognizing the urgent need for support, Taskrabbit partnered with IKEA and TY Management to help assemble furniture for 30 Temporary Housing Units in Kapula Village. Taskrabbit for Good, Taskrabbit's social impact program, sponsored 502 Tasker hours to help. This effort was more than just assembling furniture—it was about providing comfort, stability, and hope to those who lost everything. Working with various trades and community partners, we aimed to create spaces that represented the first step towards rebuilding lives and restoring a sense of normalcy. Here’s to many more projects that combine our skills, resources, and hearts to support communities in their time of need. #MauiStrong #TaskrabbitForGood

This summer, Taskrabbit hit the streets and subways in our key markets to bring people a fresh message with a familiar beat. When a Tasker shows up to take on your to-do list, it's not just about building your bookcase, cleaning your bathtub, or mounting your new TV -- it's about giving you something to sing about. The goal of the campaign was to raise awareness of Taskrabbit’s core service offering in a fun, relatable way that would (hopefully) get stuck in your head all day. We’re excited to be recognized with three Silver MUSE Creative Awards for our ‘Fixed & Remixed’ OOH campaign. The MUSE Creative Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the realms of creative design, advertising, and digital media. Congrats to the Taskrabbit marketing team!
