Proud to announce that Simplebet is set to be acquired by DraftKings Inc.. Since the earliest days working out of our founder's apartment, I've had the incredible privilege of witnessing our journey from a startup dream to this milestone. Building something 0 to 1 is always harder than you think, and this acquisition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. We grinded it out for 2+ years (felt longer) to build our first product and win our first customer (FanDuel) during the pandemic. After that, the real work began with nearly 4 more years of building new products and slowly winning market share. To my Simplebet colleagues: We did this. We shipped impactful products, talked to customers and iterated quickly. We've faced challenges, made a ton of mistakes, celebrated victories, and grown together. We should be proud. As we embark on this new chapter with DraftKings, I'm excited for what the future holds. Together, we'll have the opportunity to make an even bigger impact in the world of sports. I’m incredibly proud of the work my team did last year in designing and building the new Simplebet website, and I wanted to give the team an overdue shout out for their outstanding efforts. With so many innovative products being developed across Simplebet, I felt a responsibility to clearly define our product suite and effectively tell our story. The challenge was to distill the complexity of our offerings into a cohesive message that resonates with potential customers. This project was as much about storytelling as it was about design. Crafting the right narrative for a large organization requires getting buy-in from all stakeholders, ensuring we’re communicating the right story to the right audience. In the fast-paced world of startups and a rapidly evolving industry, adaptability is key. That’s why we built the site in Webflow, allowing non-technical team members to easily update content as our story evolves. A big shoutout to Henry Steckel, Kia Valdez Bettcher, and Paper Tiger for their outstanding work in bringing this vision to life. Since launching the site, we’ve seen a significant increase in traffic and inbound interest, and now have a platform that truly reflects the pride we have in our company. 👉 simplebet.ai
